The units at Komala Homestay in Canggu are awesome! Our room had a flat-screen TV where we could watch our favorite shows, and a private bathroom with a nice shower. The double room had a cool tile/marble floor that looked so stylish. As twin room guests, we loved that one room had a private entrance, and the other had a balcony where we could hang out and enjoy the view. And let's not forget about the seating area in another twin room, it was the perfect spot to relax and chat with our friends. the rooms were cozy and had everything we needed.
Although we loved everything, the only thing we liked less was that our room didn't have a balcony. But hey, that's just our personal preference and we understand that some people might still enjoy their stay without one.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and good shower pressure. the staff were helpful and kind, providing a pleasant experience during my New Year stay. the location was key, close to the main road and within walking distance of the beach. I also enjoyed the view from my ground floor room onto the pool.
There was a mold smell in the room, which seems to be a common issue in accommodations in this area. I rented two rooms, and while one was fine, the other had a strong damp smell that was unpleasant.

We recently stayed at a homestay in Bali with our children and had a fantastic experience. the location was ideal, with easy access to various attractions and amenities. the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering a lovely view of the surrounding area. the staff was helpful and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. We appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to rest and relax. While everything was great, the only minor drawback was the quality of the soaps provided.

Incredible stay! The location was mind-blowing, surrounded by diverse restaurants and cafes. It was super quiet with only 7 rooms. The aircon was jaw-droppingly perfect, ensuring a comfortable sleep every night. The beds were so cozy, and the bathroom was huge. The staff were incredible, always wearing a smile and ready to assist. Would 100% come back!

Stayed at a place with a great pool to take Instagram-worthy pictures, a cozy lounge to chill in, and air-conditioned rooms with a terrace for hot days. Free WiFi for those life-or-death social media updates.
Mold smell, but hey, it's Bali. It's all part of the authentic experience, right?

The outdoor swimming pool at this accommodation was like a tranquil oasis in the middle of a desert. It was so refreshing to take a dip and escape the scorching heat. I lounged by the pool, sipping my drink, feeling like a star in my own private movie scene.
Ants in bed.

The property is brand new and incredibly clean, which was such a pleasant surprise! The peaceful atmosphere and tasteful decoration added to the overall charm. The staff, who are all part of the same family, were so kind and gentle. When my mother fell ill, they went above and beyond to help and take care of her. The kitchen with free hot/cold water, coffee, and tea was a great added bonus. Even though it may be a bit farther from the beach, the 20-minute walk was worth it for the quiet, small street location. Plus, the homestay had strong wifi, respectful lodgers, and prompt room service. I would definitely return!
